A FISHERMAN'S PRAYER

God grant that I may fish until my dying day.

And when I come to my last cast,

I'll then most humbly pray.

When in the Lord's safe landing net

I'm peacefully asleep

That in

His Mercy

I'll be judged

As good enough to keep.

A Part of Me Is Gone

A part of me is gone, Never to be replaced. It’s just like someone got up, And slapped me in the face. A part of me is missing, And to which I have no clue. But to that missing part, Goes someone that loves you. A part of me is crushed, Why I do not know. And makes me wonder why, The part had to go. A part of me is burning, With a rage that fills my heart. Makes me want to turn back time, To the very start. Paw Paw I’m sad right now, More than you’ll ever know, But what I’m thinking right now is… Will this feeling ever go?
